White Striped Heart Accent Nail!

I LOVE white nails! Here is what you'll need:

  • A base coat of your choice
  • Any white nail polish
  • Gold Glitter (mix this with clear top coat for application)
  • Striping Brush
  • Dotting Tool
  • Polish Remover to clean up the edges
  • Q-Tips
  • Top Coat of your choice (I use "Out The Door" because it dries super quick!)
Apply two thin coats of white on every nail except for the ring finger. Apply the gold glitter (mix with top coat) to those nails.
Next, take the stiper brush and create the stripes on the ring fingers.
After that dries, take your dotting tool and apply the heart. Start with two small dots for the top of the heart and one dot below to the bottom. Play around with it until you get the size and shape you want! Apply top coat and you're done!

Pink Diamond Dazzle!

This look was fun and easy and it kind of reminds me of a cupcake :-) Here's what you need:

  • Base Coat of your choice.
  • "Nina" brand in the color "Fuchsia Rage"
  • "Finger Paints" brand in the color "Copy Cat"
  • "Hard as Nails" brand by Sally Hansen in the color "Hard to Get"
  • "Out the Door" top coat.
  • Q-tips (for ombre application)
  • Gemstones of your choice.
  • Dotting tool (to apply the gemstones)
  • Nail Art Brush (to apply the glitter)
  • Paper Plate. *If you don't have any, you can simply apply the nail polish straight to the q-tip* If you have a paper plate, this will be used to put the polish onto in order to dip the q-tip in it. :-)
First, give those nails a nice even base coat.
Next, take the white polish and dab some onto your plate. Take a q-tip, dip it in and apply the white polish onto your free edge (as if you were doing a french manicure). Do this on all nails. *apply two coats*
Next, do the same process with the pink color on top of the white but only on the edge. Just enough to let the white peek through at the bottom. Apply two coats of the pink as well. With bright, neon colors, you want to work quickly..they dry fast!
After both colors are dry, take your nail art brush and apply the glitter to the top of the pink and white colors. You can go heavy on the tips and then make it thinner as you get to the bottom, or however you like.
After the glitter dries, take your dotting tool and wet the tip of it. Either with your mouth or a little bit of water (I'm not fancy and since it's my own nails...I just touched it to my tongue to get it wet) This will help the gems to adhere to the dotting tool for easy application. Have your gems ready.
Next, apply the top coat to the area that you want the gems (mine was my ring finger). Quickly take the dotting tool, pick up a gem and apply it to the nail. I had to work rather quickly because the brand I use dries in seconds! After you get them where you want them, apply a top coat and your done!

Green French Manicure!

This one was a fun one but I didn't leave it on very long because I don't wear this color a lot. Yes, I kind of have to match my nails to my clothes. Haha! Here is what you'll need:

  • Base coat- for the tips, I used a white polish.
  • Top Coat
  • "Pure Ice" brand in the color "Wild Thing"
  • "Sally Hansen" brand in the color "Hard to Get"
  • "Sinful Colors" brand in the color "Black on Black"
  • Dotting Tool
  • Small Nail Art Brush to create stripes. Or you can use a Striper.
First, I applied the white polish on my nail tips. Like I explained in the last tutorial, a simple base coat will not do when it comes to bright neon colors..especially green! I took this look off and it still looked like I had the green polish on! I figure a normal base coat would have kept it from staining the nail...nope! So, apply the white as the tip base just to be safe!
After all the white polish dried, I applied 2 coats of the green polish onto the tips.
Next, I took my Nail Art Brush and dipped it into the black polish and applied the black stripes as shown above. Clean off the brush and repeat the same process, this time with the white polish. Apply as shown.
Next, add the dots with your dotting tool or tool of your choice.
Let it dry and apply top coat! Done!

You can apply glitter to this look if you like! Make it your own unique design! <3 XOXO

Pink Craze!

This is a very fun summer time nail look and it's rather easy to accomplish! Let's start off with some basic "know how's" before I dive into how to accomplish this look:

1) When you are using bright, neon colors of ANY kind (especially green), you will want to lay down 2 layers of white nail polish as a base first before you apply the color. Why? Because neon colors will stain your natural nail and cause more work when you go to change your look. Neon colors are highly pigmented in order to achieve their bright appearance. Your nails (even fake, gel, acrylic, etc) will absorb these colors like crazy! So, before you even think about applying these beautiful, bold colors..apply the 2 coats of plain white nail polish first. Make sure to get a nice even coat as well. If you leave any spots on the nail that are see through or not completely covered..the neon polish will seep through and cause staining. Now that that tip is covered, let's move on to this look!

  • Base Coat- for this look, the white polish. No need for a clear base coat when using white.
  • "Nina Ultra Pro" brand (from Sally's Beauty) in the color "Punki Pink"
  • "Nina Ultra Pro" brand in the color "Fuchsia Rage"
  • A dotting tool or nail art brush/pen.
  • Q-tips
  • Nail Polish Remover. (if you are working with gel or acrylic nails, be sure to use NON-acetone remover)
  • Make up Sponge or Wedge.
  • Top Coat of choice. I prefer "Out the Door" top coat. Dries in seconds and leave a beautiful shine!
  • Rhinestones of your choice.
  • Some glitter polish. I used silver. Be creative and make it your own! Do whatever you like!
First, take the white polish and create the "V" shaped french tip on all nails EXCEPT the ring and thumb.
On the ring finger and thumb, I took the white polish and put 2 coats all over the nail.
Next, I took my make up wedge and applied the two separate shades of pink and put it on the wedge. Then, simply apply the polish onto the ring and thumb nails in a "rocking" motion, being sure to cover the nail entirely.
After that, I took my nail art brush and applied the dark pink stripes on top of the "V"
After all that is dry, I took my dotting tool and nail art brush and applied the dots and small stripes onto the ring and thumb fingers.
Wait for a while and give it a chance to dry, then apply some glitter on top of the stripes of the ring and thumb fingers.
Apply a top coat and your done!

**Be sure to use NON acetone polish remover when you are changing looks with gel or acrylic nails. If you use pure acetone to remove your looks, you will melt them right off!**

ENJOY! <3
