Jade Feather Look

What you'll need:

  • Top Coat of your choice
  • Base Coat of your choice (I didn't use any for this look, I usually use Base Coat when I use bright neon colors)
  • Sinful Color Brand "Black on Black"
  • Finger Paints brand "Where Art Renoir?"
  • Sally Hansen "Celeb City"
  • Pure Ice brand "Dazzle Me"
  • Avon "Jade" (you can use any mint color)
  • Nail Art brush
First, paint index, pinky and thumb nail with "Where Art Renoir?" (or any black glitter polish, 2 coats) just make sure it's not a chunky glitter. Very light and "barely there" for these nails.
Next, apply the silver metallic color ("Celeb City") to the middle fingers.
While that's drying, move on to the ring fingers and paint them the mint color (I did two coats because the color is thin and opaque).
Next, apply the chunky glitter to the middle fingers (on top of the metallic color, two coats if your wanting lots of glitter coverage!)
Next you can paint on the feather! Start with the stem of the feather. Then, take the nail brush and make small, quick strokes for the feathers. My trick is to go until the polish on the brush runs thin and then dip it in and grab some more. The mix of the light/dark strokes give it a small 3D effect!
After your feathers are dry, take the clean nail brush and dip it into the chunky glitter and run the glitter down the stem of the feathers (right down the middle). You can strategically place the glitter chunks or just paint it on. However you like!
Once all is dry, apply top coat to seal the design and you're done! XO

Blue Wedding Nails (simple look)

This look was super easy to accomplish. Here is what I used:

  • Nail Polish Remover (to clean edges after look is complete)
  • Q-tips
  • Top Coat of your choice
  • "Sinful Colors" Rain Storm
You can use a base coat if you like. It will help keep the color on longer! Here, I didn't use one.
All you have to do it apply a thin layer (or two) of this color to your nails, let it dry and apply a top coat. I usually use "Out the Door" which can be purchased at Sally's Beauty. It is very good top coat and dries really fast! I am currently out and need to purchase more!
Sorry for the long absence. My desktop has been down for quite some time now. Picture quality will be better now as well because of my new camera! Thanks for reading! XOXO More posts to come!
