Google Challenge Coming Soon!

In this challenge, you have to bring up Google, type in the first letter of your first and last initials followed by the word "look." So, mine would be "KC look" and whatever the first image is you have to recreate it with an eyeshadow look!! My picture is posted here.
Since the rule is "first image," I'm going to create a makeup look with image A!! I'm pretty excited for this challenge!
Keep your eyes open for this challenge!!

ColourPop "You Had Me At Hello" Eye-shadow Pallet Review

Hello everyone! Good afternoon!
Today, I want to review ColourPop's "You Had Me At Hello" pallet!
Oh my...this is a very good quality pallet for the price! This is an $18 pallet and it contains 12 colors.
I am a huge fan of ColourPop in general. They have fantastic products that won't break the bank.
First off, the colors are well pigmented. Now, you may have to build up the lighter colors a bit but that never turns me off to product. The color "Two Peas" may have to be built up a bit but that can happen with lighter colors. To me, the fact that you may have to build color is a good thing, because then YOU get to choose the shade/intensity of it!
Here to the right is a look that I created with this pallet. I did NOT edit these pictures because I wanted you to see the true shade and pigment of these colors.

How I got this look:

~Crease shade- "Two Peas"
~Deepened Crease shade color- "Want You Back"
~Outer V- "Sparks Fly"
~Inner Corner- "Sparks Fly"
~Halo Center- "Moon Struck"
~ Inner Corner Highlight & Brow bone Highlight- "Moon Struck"
Lower Lash Line- A mix of the shades on the top lid! As long as you match the lower lash line colors or have friendly complementary colors, it'll look great!

*If and when I do edit pictures, I'll let you know.*

If you end up purchasing this pallet or if you already have it, please comment below and ALWAYS feel free to comment and leave pictures of your look below!

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer Review

Hello! Today, I want to review the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer! I have mine in the color "Bronzer" #6676
This bronzer is absolute perfection. Honestly, I have nothing but a pros list so, lets go through it, shall we? I want to put them with bullet points so I don't ramble and so it stays neat. I tend to ramble when I get excited about a product!

  • The smell. Oh. my. goodness. It smells like a coconut, tropical oasis!!! It reminds me of a lighter scent of "Banana Boat" suntan oil. When I opened it up, I was instantly taken to the beach.
  • Super cute packaging! It came with a weird, spongy applicator but I chucked that into the garbage and used a face brush for application. I love the bright colors of the pallet. The size is also perfect (0.38 oz/11g) and it comes with a mirror for easy, on the go application!
  • The color is build-able. It doesn't just "plop" on color all at once and in one spot. It is very light, which gives YOU control of the shade range. BIG plus for me! It isn't matte and it isn't glittery (massive plus for me because of fine lines)! That's something that I can't find often. Products today have way too much glitter and I just can't pull it off anymore. In this product, there is a SLIGHT and I mean SLIGHT shimmer to it. It's perfect, in my opinion. It has a beautiful sheen to it.
  • The price can be SO different, depending on where you purchase it. I bought mine at Walmart for, I believe, $12.99. The price range is anywhere from $11 to $14
Final thoughts: worth the hype and worth the money! I would definitely give it a try! The smell: A+, packaging: A+ (it is plastic so, don't expect metal or anything hefty), product itself: A+!
I LOVE mine! If you want to order from Amazon, the link for it is below for prime.

Enjoy!!

XOXO,
Krys.

Jaclyn Hill Inspired Look!

Hello Beauties!!
Today, I want to show you the look I created with the Jaclyn Hill Pallet. I LOVE this summer-y, beach-y look! Whenever I do a review for an eye-shadow pallet, I'll create a look with it so you can see how it performs on the eyes!

**I did add ONE filter to these photos because I have a bit of skin redness and a couple of blemishes** Un-edited pictures below!

Here are the colors in the pallet that I used:

Crease Shade- A mix of "M.F.E.O" & "Pooter" with a pop of "Pool Party" in the center of the lid.
Outer V- "Soda Pop"
Lid Color- "Jada"
Outer Lower Lash- "Pool Party"
Inner Lower Lash- "Obsessed"
Inner Corner Highlight- "Beam"
Brow Bone Highlight- "Beam"

This pallet (again) is amazing and well worth the money! I missed doing my beauty posts SO much and I will stick with it because I thoroughly enjoy it.

Thanks for reading! Please share and comment!

My Brow Products!

Hello beauties!

Today, I want to talk about the products I use for my brows! That is "The Brow Gal" product by Tonya Crooks.
I received this product in my Boxycharm (not all at once) and have loved it ever since! Below, I'll describe each product along with the price and the link to purchase!

~ "The Brow Gal Convertible Brow" in the color Brown Hair 02, $35. I LOVE this trio. It has different shades (which is always a bonus) and you have an option to use it as a pomade OR powder. I love it most as a powder but if you're looking for a more dramatic brow for a wedding or something special, then I'd use it as a pomade! I have no issues whatsoever with it coming off or fading and I've even taken naps and have laid down with it on my brows! Here is the link for this product!

~ Clear Eyebrow Gel $20. This brow gel WILL keep your brows in place and will keep them from going all wonky. Now, it does leave your brows crunchy but if that doesn't bother you, then I would say purchase it!! Great product!

~ The Instatint Tinted Brow Gel with Microfibers $22- This tinted brow product is awesome!! It's great to use if you're wanting a more natural application. It leaves your brows soft and fluffy! Great if you have smaller brows AND it adds definition because of the microfibers. WIN!

~ Sedona Lace EB 17 Brush (original price, $13.95, on sale NOW for $6.98). This brush is perfect for me for application! I find that the brush that "The Brow Gal" sells is too big for my eyebrows *$14* (they're super tiny) but if you have bigger brows, you may like that brush better! Links to both brushes below!

Sedona Lace Brush (the one I use most)

That's all for this post!! I hope you find it helpful! Comment below of what category you'd like me to post on next! XOXO

Jaclyn Hill Pallet Review!

Hello all! It's been SO long since I've posted so, let's kick it off with Jaclyn Hill's Pallet by Morphe Cosmetics! I LOVE this pallet!! I've had it and used it for a few months now and I reach for it quite frequently. Are all the colors perfect? No. BUT..the ones that aren't are build-able! Meaning, if you put a couple of layers on of that color, it's perfect! The only colors I had issues with was "Twerk" and a couple of the brown shades (a tad patchy). Does that make me regret the purchase? Not at all!
The pigmentation is great and the shadow is nice and soft! This product retails for $38 but you can get a discount if you use the code JACATTACK at checkout. Link below! Buy it! You won't regret it! XOXO                                                                                                            Comment below and let me know what you think of the pallet if you already own it OR if you purchased by my recommendation!                                                                                                         https://www.morphebrushes.com/products/jh2-jaclyn-hill-ii-palette

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit "Gleam" Review

Hello Beauties!!!!

This is a review on the Anastasia Beverly Hill Glow Kit in "Gleam"

Sorry there are no swatches in this post! It was VERY difficult to pick it up with my phone camera.

Let's do a "pros" and "cons" list:

PROS:

  • Cute packaging!

  • Replaceable magnetic pans! Run out of one color and not the other? No problem! Just go buy the one color and refill it.

  • BEAUTIFUL pigmentation! I can't complain about any color in the pigmentation department.

  • Beautiful colors!!

  • There is a highlight color for EVERY Season!

For example:

Winter: "Crushed Pearl'" for you pale beauties!

"Mimosa" and "Hard Candy" for Summer

"Starburst" for Autumn when you still have a glow from the Summer but it's starting to fade a bit.

CONS:

  • The kit is $40

Hard Candy: A purple pink-ish undertone. When you turn it, it has an intense purple flex. No worries! It's not noticeable on the skin to where you feel that you have to remove it. Beautiful color!

Mimosa: A bronzed highlight! Gorgeous color!

Starburst: Lighter color with light, LIGHT pink flex.

Crushed Pearl: This one just looks white to me. Very pretty!

I hope you've enjoyed this review!! Stayed tuned for more coming up!

My overall thoughts: GET THIS PALLET! To me, it's worth it because every time I do my make up, I highlight AND there's a color for whatever your skin tone may be.

XO
Krys
